Samson Wong, one of the most renowned interior designers in Hong Kong, founder and executive director of SAMSON WONG DESIGN GROUP. He has won the top ten interior designers awards for consecutive years in Hong Kong.

After studying Interior Architecture and Visual Arts at the University of New South Wales and the University of Sydney in Australia, Samson developed an international perspective and style of interior design, which he has applied to many of his projects. During these years, Samson created hundreds of projects by giving his unique sense of art full play. He shows extraordinary charisma and leadership, while taking the lead of his professional design team, time and time creating magic in luxury residences, renowned restaurants, hotels, and offices for multinational companies. Moore Chen has over 25 years of experience in interior design and project management. He then founded Moore Chen Design Ltd, an award-winning interior design company specialised in diverse discipline including luxury residential, hospitality, corporate workplace, exhibition, historic restoration, education and F&B.

Fred Chan

Mr. Fred Chan is a renowned interior designer in Hong Kong. He studied at First Institute of Art & Design College and City University of Hong Kong, also majoring in Architecture study, Environment and Interior Design.

In 1999, Fred founded GPC Design, providing professional design services to various clients. His work has received recognition from clients due to his solid experience and unique design concepts as well as his sound advice on the design of the projects. In 2000, Fred set up branch FSC in Shenzhen and the company’s business keeps growing. The first project that the company successfully launched is Laguna Verona, a residential project developed by Tycoon Li’s corporation Hutchison Whampoa in Dongguan. In a few years, the company’s has built foothold in more than 10 cities, including Hong Kong, Macau and China. Kent Wong

Kent Wong, a design entrepreneur specialises in designing form and space including interior, furniture and product, as well as brand management. Wong promotes quality design and bridges the gap between designers and business entities by curating numerous exhibitions and programmes primarily in Mainland China.

Wong was graduated from the School of Design of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University with M.A. and B.A. (1st Hon.). Since then he devoted in a wide range of design related businesses, co-founded Scopo Creative Ltd., a design consultation and strategic management company; O+N Ltd., a video production and online media company, in order to provide one-stop service of design-business matching, design, branding and promotion.

For almost two decades Wong has collaborated with international designers, brands and industrialists, so to integrate China market and international design force for global collaboration, and connect parties from different business circles for exploring larger market share together.

Timothy Cheng

Founder and Managing Director of Tiron Interior Architecture

Tim is a well-known figure in the Hong Kong design profession. He spent 5 years studying Architecture in the United Kingdom and subsequently worked for the renowned firm of global architects, Foster + Partners. In 2000, he returned to his native Hong Kong and advanced his career with a number of award-winning firms in various Project Director roles, specializing in workplace design and implementation for prestigious financial sector clients. Fulfilling a lifetime ambition to run his own firm, he established Tiron Interior Architecture in 2009.

Tim’s works have received numerous awards, including Hong Kong Trade Development Council Lighting Design awards, Perspective 40under40 awards, Perspective awards and Formica Design awards. He has been the judge of awards at the Caritas Bianchi College of Careers, Today’s Living magazine and Perspective Student awards.

Tim’s designs have been featured in various publications, such as the leading design industry magazine Perspective and The South China Morning Post, as well as on television. He also exhibited his MUJI chair at the Detour program organised by Ambassadors of Design. Tim was invited by the HKTDC Inno Design Tech Expo to design and exhibit a specially built artwork made of paper called the “Urban Framework”.

Tim was the director and elected to the Executive Committee Member of the internationally accredited Hong Kong Interior Design Association (2009-17), Hong Kong Designers Association and Asia Pacific Creativity Industries Association. He is also a member of the China Institute of Interior Design. Tim also serves as a HKTDC advisory committee member; Panel member of the Design Incubation Programme and PMQ.

Tim is committed to “giving back” to the wider society. He was appointed as the HKU Space external academic committee member, a part-time lecturer and instructor at the City University of Hong Kong – SCOPE, Hong Kong Design Institute of Vocational Education and the Hong Kong Productivity Council, he shares his knowledge and experience to inspire future leaders in the interior design profession.
