Suzhou, known as the “Venice of the East”, is famous for its beautiful landscapes and elegant gardens. Among them, the Suzhou Museum, designed by Ieoh Ming Pei, has a simple appearance highlighting the feature of Chinese landscape painting, that is light and shadow. Light shines through the simple line aesthetics of the building, showing the clear line of the building with reflections.
The bookcase is inspired by the Suzhou Museum and the shape of the Chinese garden. Looking closely at the recess of the bookcase, a bit like a backward tilt, symbolizing the meaning of “staying and reluctant to go”. At the same time, from the appearance of the cornice to see the shape of the angle, the bookcase is made of solid wood can spell out the rockery and the sparkling pool water intertwined to create a Chinese landscape painting full of fashion taste. Between the bookcase and the environment, there is a beautiful and elegant figure that is pulled by the aesthetics of light and shadow, bringing three-dimensional landscape painting into the home.
The bookcase has a powerful storage that can be blended together in any space or as a dividing line for a space. Select the number of modules according to the size of the space, so that the whole space has a more coordinated and design sense.
