With a BA(Hons) in Architecture from University of Melbourne in Australia and a Registered Architect in Singapore, Maeve Rita has over 20 years of extensive experience in architecture, interior design and project management. Her experience varies from commercial buildings, hotels, institutions, industrial buildings to conservation projects, residential houses and interior designs.

Major projects that she had been involved in include the College of Physical Education Singapore (650,000sqft); housing developments at Seletar Hills for Bukit Sembawang Estates in Singapore; conservation project for Goodwood Park Hotel; Home for the Aged Sick of Singapore; luxury residential clubhouse development for Lakeville Regency at Xintiandi Shanghai, China (70,000sqft); listed companies regional offices such as Michael Page and Whitley Group, and numerous private residences in both Singapore and Hong Kong.

One of her long term clients, renowned musician Mr. Liu Shih Kun has commissioned Maeve Rita to design his 7000 sq. ft. private museum in Hong Kong, which was completed in 2016. In 2018-2019, her firm SOSA was again commissioned to re-brand Mr. Liu’s 200+ music schools with over 100,000 students spanning 40 cities in China. Following that, in 2021, Maeve Rita completed his flagship school, Pallas Music Academy  in Hong Kong ( 6000 sq. ft.). In 2022, she continues to design Mr. Liu Shih Kun’s next residential home (10,000 sqft) in Hong Kong.

A trained architect turned interior designer, Maeve Rita is recognized for her acumen in bespoke design, each project is individually crafted to reflect her client’s interests, lifestyle and character. Her design aesthetics are best described as relaxed elegance and sophisticated modern glamour.  “Beauty is in the details” is her motto, and Maeve Rita is often celebrated for her attention to detail.
