Some years ago, a typhoon blew down a large tree near Will’s home, causing him to think about the value and malleability of wood and inspiring his fantasy of woodworking. He then took up woodworking on the Internet, initially imitating regular work in order to improve his craft. Later on, he gradually raised the level of difficulty and developed into more difficult structures. He is fond of traditional mortise and tenon joints and is good at using color blocking to highlight the lines of mortise and tenon joints, as well as using the flexibility of wood pieces to express the softness of the lines. He hopes that his works will show another modern beauty of traditional woodworking.
